Artist Bio: Linda BornmanLinda, a self-taught artist from Kameeldrift East, Pretoria, has always been captivated by faces and the beauty of human expression. Though life as a mother of three kept her busy, her creative spirit thrived through hobbies like mosaic and cake decorating.
Fifteen years ago, she began painting with friends, discovering her love for oils and charcoals, which remain her preferred mediums. As her confidence grew, she showcased her vibrant works at exhibitions, flea markets, and local venues. Inspired by vintage themes and the color blue, her art features bold brushstrokes and uplifting energy, often focusing on women and faces.
Linda also shares her passion through her LindyLu Art School, nurturing other creative minds. For her, art is more than a craft—it's a way of life.
Visit her exhibition at Karoo Café from 1–8 March 2025, with the opening evening on 1 March. Entry is free, and the normal menu will be available.
