About this Event
Join nationally recognized watercolorist Andrea Walker as she demonstrates her process for creating realistic textures using a variety of techniques, such as wet-on-wet, layering, and masking. In this demo, she will break down the steps she uses to create successful realistic watercolor paintings as she paints the cherry donut from her most recent watercolor painting Dibs on the Cherry Donut. We will take a closer look at painting reflections, shadows, and using color.
Andrea’s watercolor paintings have been exhibited nationally and internationally with groups including the American Watercolor Society and the American Artists Professional League, as well as in The Art of Watercolour, American Art Collector, and Hyperrealism Magazine.
