Stormwater Studios is excited to participate in Artista Vista 2026 with Art Day, a lively afternoon celebrating art, creativity, and community in Columbia’s Congaree Vista District—an official South Carolina Cultural District.Visitors are invited to spend the day exploring the Semi-Annual Resident Artists Exhibition, Rites of Spring, which celebrates the arrival of spring with vibrant energy, fresh ideas, and boundless creativity. Through paintings, drawings, sculpture, and mixed media, Stormwater’s resident artists explore themes of renewal, daydreaming, and the promise of new beginnings—inviting guests to experience the joy and playful spirit of the season.
Throughout the day, guests will have the opportunity to meet resident artists, explore their work, and learn more about their creative processes. At 2:00 p.m., Stormwater Studios gardener Karen Murphy will lead a guided tour of the native plant garden, sharing the garden’s history and highlighting favorite plants that support pollinators and local ecosystems.
