In this hands-on class, kids will explore the art of Dale Chihuly and his vibrant glass works, "Macchia." Using clay and colorful glazes, students will sculpt and decorate their own unique bowls while learning about form, texture, and the expressive power of color. Please dress for mess!
Finished clay pieces will remain onsite to dry and be kiln-fired. Families will be notified by email once the artwork is ready for pickup.
This class is designed for kids ages 8-12. All supplies will be provided.
Note: Two members of the OKCMOA staff will be on-site throughout the duration of each class session. Authorized adults must check students in and out at the Theater Lobby desk. For questions regarding the class or registration, please email Programs Manager Neely Simms at [email protected].
