ART AT THE SOUND: Spoken Word 101 with Bobby Gonzalez

Spoken Word 101 explores the differences between performance and other types of poetry led by multicultural motivational speaker, storyteller and poet Bobby González. Participants will learn how to improve word choice, create more powerful imagery, and hone and express their own style and delivery. In addition to being taught meter and rhyme, participants will be shown how they can infuse their native tongue and urban vernacular in their poetry.

Entrance at Rosedale and Lacombe Avenues, past the amphitheater, take path along waterfront, leading past the boat launch. When you see the concrete circle with sign that says Soundview Point at the waterfront, you are there.
