In this talk, Eleanor Nairne, Keith L. and Katherine Sachs Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art and Department Head, Modern and Contemporary at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and curator of Lee Krasner: Living Color, will trace Krasner's life and 50-year career. Focusing on the transformative final decades of Krasner's life, during which time Krasner created Untitled (1968-1983) on view in A Nation of Artists, Nairne will demystify the artist's process and tenacity in life and art.
