Art at Brucemore: Linocut Stamp-Making

Brucemore is partnering with the Eastern Iowa Arts Academy to bring you a brand-new Art at Brucemore project! In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn the basics of linocut stamp-making. This beginner friendly class will introduce simple carving and printing techniques while encouraging creativity and personal expression.
During the workshop, participants will create and carve two stamps. The first stamp will be your practice stamp; the instructor will provide participants with a small, simple design and show you how to use tools to carve the design into a rubber stamp. Once you’ve mastered the process, participants can design a monogram or choose a different pattern to carve their own personalized stamp. When the workshop is finished, you’ll head home with two unique stamps to decorate your cards, letters, journals, scrapbooks, and other paper art!

Admission: $50.00/per project
A $4 processing fee will be added to all online and phone orders.
