Art as Release

Join us for a unique workshop where you’ll have the chance to process grief through art or craft—whether writing, knitting, drawing, crafting or 3D modeling. Guided by a reflective prompt, you’ll create a personal piece that expresses your emotions, followed by a supportive sharing session where you’ll receive a heartfelt response to your work.

The session will conclude with an optional 30-minute “Community in Grief” gathering, a safe and respectful space to find companionship and solace among others on their healing journeys.

Participants are invited to bring their own materials for knitting, sculpting, collaging, quilting or painting. Paper, pens and pencils will be supplied for those who would like to draw or write.

Event address will be provided to registrants before the day of the event. Location is in N. Portland near Univeristy Park neighborhood.
