About this Event

The impact of gun violence continues to be felt throughout the nation and in Seattle. The Seattle Office of Arts & Culture and National Nordic Museum invite you to the third event of One Seattle ARTS Lecture Series — Art, Artists, and the Narratives of Loss and Resiliency — a series that addresses the effects of gun violence on our communities.

The lecture series, comprised of performance, presentation, and discussion, will integrate arts and cultural elements to change the narrative around gun violence. Additional events in the series will be offered at locations across the city with different speakers and activities through October 2022.

This third event of the panel series will focus on the power of dance and its role in the community. It will include featured guests:

  • Panelists: Spectrum Dance Theater and Anna Banana Freeze
  • Moderated by Adra Boo
  • Music by DJ SummerSoft

This event is FREE and open to the public. Registration is encouraged, but not required.
