About the Artist:
The Atlanta Guitar Trio is a classical music ensemble providing an exciting take on traditional and contemporary music. For over a decade their innovative mixing of guitar with theorbo, mandolin, and ukulele has produced unique concert programs expanding well beyond standard guitar repertoire. The result is a rich palate of textures with an exciting sound that showcases the talent and musicianship of each performer. Atlanta Guitar Trio performances are fun, informative, and feature music from a wide selection of composers, time periods, and genres.
Their debut album, AG3, was released in 2012. It features arrangements of popular works by Isaac Albéniz and Luigi Boccherini as well as exciting takes on Spanish and Russo-Ukrainian folk music. AG3 is available here and on all streaming platforms.
