Workshop #2: My Emotional Weather

Workshop Date: Saturday November 21, 2026 • 1:00–2:30 pm

Location: 911 Golf Links Road, Suite 200, Ancaster, Ontario

Price: $50 per workshop • all materials included

In this 90-minute creative workshop, teens ages 11–16 will explore emotions, self-expression, and emotional awareness through art.

Using colour, texture, shapes, symbols, and mixed-media materials, participants will create their own Emotional Weather Landscape, exploring what different emotions might look and feel like if they showed up as weather.

Along the way, we’ll explore emotions as a natural part of being human, how everyone experiences and expresses emotions differently, and how emotions can give us information about what we may need. Participants will also creatively explore the people, activities, places, and supports that can help us move through our changing emotional “weather.”

No artistic experience is needed, and there is no “right” way to create. Participants are always welcome to engage and share at their own comfort level.

This workshop is part two of a three-part Teen Art & Wellness Series.
