Grab a drink and get creative with these Thursday Night classes for adults. Beer, wine, non-alcoholic beverages, and snacks will be available for purchase in the Atrium Bar. This season, you’ll see a special focus on history as we commemorate the 150th anniversary of Longmont’s founding.
Curator of History Erik Mason and Teaching Artist Leigh Putman will select rarely seen objects from the Longmont Museum collection highlighting the past 150 years of our community’s history. Leigh will arrange these objects allowing light and shadow to play across the scene. She will demonstrate techniques in pencil, charcoal, watercolor pencil, and watercolor paint to help you capture the tableau.
