Angad Arts Hotel's 7th Biannual Exhibition features 159 pieces by 81 local and regional artists selected from our fall call for art. The majority of the artwork will be featured in the 12th floor lobby, with some additional works on the first floor and in ART Bar.

The Energy Of Connections

"As an older artist, I feel the fire within me has to do with being, place, and connections to people and ideas. My goal is to find new ways to express these energies. After spending decades creating, I’m now particularly inspired by the energy of connections. My feelings about the negative state of the world sit deep inside me and I have a need to express connnections through the way I know best with line and shape and color. My inspirations of late have to do with drawing upon strong, positive energies in order to create harmony in my art. I’d like to believe that my creations are helping to bring dissidents together.Ultimately, each composition becomes a combination of what I have put into the work and what the viewer finds to relate to in it. I hope they will find their own connections through beauty, or humor, or mystery or something that touches them. My creative process at present consists of making mixed media pieces. Many unfinished monotypes are being cut up and combined with new printed parts to create new compositions. Mixing the older with the new becomes a continuum which is very satisfying to me."
