Art & Community as Resistance

On February 21, 2025, Mx. Yaffa will be joining us in Denver, CO for a combined open mic and community dinner event. This will also be celebrating the one year anniversary of Poets for Palestine Denver!

Each ticket comes with admission to the event, which will be donated to queer and trans folks experiencing genocide globally. Every ticket also covers the cost of a meal in the form of a buffet of Palestinian food, provided by our partner, Saj Fresh Grill, the only female owned Palestinian restaurant in Denver. We will eat and share space together, then gather to share art and poetry. Attendees from our “What Are We Fighting For?” workshop on February 5th, 2025, will have an opportunity to share their writing here. We will also open the mic to Yaffa to hear about their creative process in using art as activism for collective liberation, as well as other local poets and musicians.

Ticket pricing is below! We have free tickets available as well, so please reach out to us for a discount code if money is a barrier.

Tier 1 - For those most impacted by systems of oppression, covers the cost of dinner - $15.00

Tier 2 - Covers a meal and admission + $10 donation - $30.00

Tier 3 - Cover a meal and admission + $20 donation - $40.00

Tier 4 - Covers a meal and admission for yourself, sponsors another attendee + $10 donation - $50.00

Tier 5 - Covers a meal and admission for yourself, sponsors another attendee + $20 donation - $60.00

Tier 6 - Donating that sugar daddy money - $100
