Art and Fun! In Studio Art Classes for Kids

Welcome to Golden Moon Studios, located in downtown San Mateo. We are an artist led studio offering classes, workshops, classes and more!

We offer visual art-based classes including watercolor, acrylic, mixed media, drawing and so much more. It's is the perfect place for aspiring artists to hone current skills while learning new ones. We all know art is important for young minds, but why? Studying visual art benefits students by building self-esteem and confidence plus it strengthens achievement in academic subjects, critical thinking, and problem-solving. In addition, it increases cultural awareness as well as social and communication skills. Our program is specifically designed to encourage and aid students to be creative problem solvers, taking an idea from conception to completion. Our beautiful studio setting and artist-led team are here to support your child.

Our curriculum is curated through a combination of art history, encouraging self-expression, and the exploration of artistic techniques (including drawing, painting, collage, mixed-media, and more), children gain a unique educational experience. Our instructors encourage imagination, creative expression, and joy. All children receive guidance from our skilled art instructors, who have experience bringing art to young children in a fun, engaging, and joyful way.

-Medications (Ex: EpiPen) if your camper(s) need it.

This is a day trial for our after-school program. Your child will be included in the day's lesson, get to see our space and meet our teacher. If we are working on a project from a previous day, then your child will have a customized lesson.
