Welcome to Eastern Market Main Street's Art All Night celebration! On September 27th, from 5pm-10pm, you can select from the following awesome activities in the North Hall of Eastern Market. Registiration for some workshops are required, but all workshops in the North Hall are free to the public!

Upcycled Cloth Pumpkin Decorations

Get ready for fall by diy-ing your own pumpkin patch! In this workshop, we will use upcycled materials to make plush pumpkins that you can decorate with a variety of accessories to match your perfect fall mood. This is a perfect workshop to explore your creativity and learn some new ways to give new life to old materials. Registration Required

Punch Needle Wall Art

Immerse yourself in the unique North American art form of Punch Needle, a craft rooted in 19th-century rug hooking. This technique involves using a special tool to punch loops of colorful yarn into woven cloth, resulting in a beautiful piece of art that can be proudly displayed on your wall. The beginner-friendly workshop equips you with the essential skills and techniques to create your own unique artwork. The creative possibilities are limitless, with a wide selection of yarn and pre-designed patterns. Beginner-friendly, no prior experience required, ages 10+. Registration Required

Suncatchers

Design your very own suncatcher in this fun DIY workshop! Add colorful beads, feathers, crystals or ribbon to make it your own or opt for a simple modern design. During the first half of the workshop, Kristin of D. Prince Designs will demonstrate several techniques for participants, and then you and your friends will be free to make your suncatcher your own. Hang your finished suncatcher near a window that gets direct light and enjoy the beautiful rainbows that will be cast around your home! Registration Required

Watercolor Flowers and Watercolor Mushrooms

Join Heather Duncan and learn to paint beautiful loose floral compositions! This class is for everyone, from beginner to advanced. All are welcome to explore loose floral watercolor composition. The class will go over brush strokes, color mixing and various watercolor techniques. You will walk away with a matted 5x7 watercolor floral worthy of display.

Come paint a fantasy creature and take it home with you! All the supplies you need will be provided, and Labyrinth staff will be there to teach and give advice.

If you register for a workshop and have not arrived within 10 minutes of workshop start time, your seat may be given to walk-ins. Please respect the time of our instructors and your fellow participants.
