Art After Dark at the Art Club

Join the Providence Art Club for its monthly Art After Dark event Thursday, May 28 from 3:30-7pm. Admission is free and open to all. Six talented local artists will be in attendance. This is a great opportunity to experience art with friends and neighbors.

What's On:

Artful Camaraderie: The Club's charming Angell's Lane Bar will be open for drink purchases and light snacks will be served. Gather with us after work and bring friends. Enjoy a cocktail or mocktail and explore our historic galleries.

A Special Gallery Talk: From 3:30-4:30pm, join artists Kirsten Sorensen and Anthony Tomaselli for an engaging conversation in Dodge House Gallery to accompany their two person show. Questions from guests are very welcome. Learn more about their work and process.

Casual Meet and Greet with Artists: Exhibitors Susan Aitcheson, Judy Vilmain, and Valerie Albert Weingard will be present in Maxwell Mays Gallery througout the evening to discuss their work and welcome guests. Artist Susan Shaw will also be in attendance and can answer questions about her mini-solo exhibition in Mary Castelnovo Gallery.

Located at 11 Thomas Street in the heart of College Hill, the Providence Art Club has been a center for the visual arts since 1880. It's three galleries are always free and open to the public. Don't miss this artful evening!
