Bhushangatha is a 90-minute solo performance in Hindi and Braj Bhasha by Pune-based writer and performer Ashwin Chitale, National Award–winning child actor (Shwaas). The production brings alive the life and poetry of Kavi Bhushan, the royal poet of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, through researched storytelling drawn from historical records and oral traditions. Blending verse, history, and performance, Bhushangatha presents Bhushan’s world in an engaging and accessible form for contemporary audiences, with evolving poetic selections that make each presentation unique.
