Art 3 Gallery exhibit "Exploration: Line/Shape/Form"

Art 3 Gallery is pleased to announce the opening of their newest exhibit titled “Exploration: Line/Shape/Form” on display now.

The one-dimensional line is the basic building block having length but no width or depth. Thickness, direction and curvature are the characteristics that define line. Two-dimensional shape has height and width and whether fragmented or balanced, shapes contribute to the overall composition of a work. Three-dimensional form implies volume and mass and this adds to the realism and depth of a composition. How an artist chooses to create, allows the viewer to contemplate how line, shape, and form influence our perceptions, emotions, and experiences of the world around us.

Line – shape – form: all the basic building blocks of artistry. Through a diverse array of artworks, this show invites the viewer to embark on a journey of discovery, where they can explore the intrinsic qualities and potential of all of these elements.
