Hello everyone! This is Ephraim with the Wa-Hi-Nasa Lodge. I’d like to personally invite you to our next event ArrowCorps 111!
The service event will be on Oct. 11 at Grimes Canoe Base. This is a great chance to spend the day giving back to camp and having fun!
We’ll have a free lunch and all who help out will earn an exclusive ArrowCorps lodge flap you can’t get anywhere else.
Registration ends on Friday!
More details:
We will have various areas of work ranging from building a fence, putting a pipe next to the ramp to address erosion, and improving campsites. If you have mobility or other concerns, you can still help out!
Please bring your own PPE! This includes gloves, pants, eye protection, a hard hat, and anything else you may need. Some areas don't need as much PPE, such as building the fence. If you can, please bring your own tools as well!
Ramp Crew will flatten a rock in the ramp, lay a pipe next to it, and lay rock on top of the pipe. Fence Squad will replace a lashed stick on trees acting a fence with a self-standing one to make it more permanent (those with mobility or other concerns will work here). Campsite Strike Team (CST) will move around the campsites and fix fire rings, tables, and overall improve the campsite.
