Around the Bend tours - Yeovil, Somerset

Have you ever wondered what happens to the water you use to shower, wash dishes and flush your toilets with? Well, you can find out with Wessex Water’s ‘Around the Bend’ tours at your local water recycling centre!

The team at Wessex Water provide the unseen service of treating over 472 million litres of sewage every day, so this is a unique and rare opportunity to look behind the scenes at how it’s done with a guided tour from one of their experts.

The Around the Bend tours are suitable for all ages, and child-friendly sessions tailored towards younger children are also available between 4pm and 5pm on weekday events and 10am and 11am on weekend events.

You can come along on your own or bring your family and friends. Unfortunately, pets are not permitted on the sites.

Please note each tour will last between 30 and 45 minutes – depending on the size of the site – with each tour starting either on the hour or half past the hour.
