Experimental jazz musician brings her much awaited fourth album to Aviva Studios
Join Grammy-winning vocalist Arooj Aftab for a night of music in celebration of Night Reign – her fourth solo project and follow-up to her critically acclaimed 2021 album Vulture Prince.
Combining experimental jazz and blues with South Asian classical music and pop, Arooj Aftab defies classification. Experience her unique sound as she journeys through her musical catalogue, performing new songs alongside old classics.
Born in Pakistan and now based in Brooklyn, Arooj Aftab has performed at major venues and festivals around the world – including the Newport Jazz Festival, Coachella, Roskilde Festival, Montreal Jazz Festival and Glastonbury. She won a Grammy in the Best Global Music Performance category for her single Mohabbat, and was nominated twice for her third album Love in Exile (2023).
