AromaKind: Portland’s First Cruelty-Free Fragrance Expo Debuts This October

Try Vegan PDX and Northwest Veg are thrilled to introduce AromaKind, Portland’s very first cruelty-free fragrance expo, happening Sunday, October 5, 2025, from 12–5 PM at the beautiful Arium Ballroom inside the iconic Jupiter Hotel.

If you’ve ever wondered what compassion smells like, this is your chance to find out.

AromaKind will bring together a curated lineup of indie perfumers, scent-based artisans, and ethical beauty brands from around the Pacific Northwest. Whether you’re a fragrance enthusiast, a conscious consumer, or simply scent-curious, this one-of-a-kind event is your opportunity to explore luxurious, handcrafted perfumes—all 100% vegan and cruelty-free.

But there’s more than just shopping! The day will also include:

🌿 Presentations from local makers on the art and ethics of perfumery🤝 A perfume swap—bring a scent you’re done with and discover something new🎁 A raffle with sweet-smelling prizes that support a good cause ✨ Tips for living and shopping cruelty-free, presented by Northwest Veg

Admission is free, so bring a friend and make a day of it. Donations are optional, but appreciated to help support the work of local vegan and cruelty-free organizations.
