'Armies on Parade' is our yearly event that simply celebrates the art of showing off our Warhammer armies! Hobbyists will take over our tables with their displays and we all will have the pleasure of admiring them and voting for our favorites! Judging for Armies on Parade will be done by popular vote from customers. Customers will vote for their favorite entries in each category. The top 3 entries (in each Category) with the most votes will be awarded the Bronze, Silver and Gold prizes. There is also a wonderful token just for participatingThere are four different categories:
'Solo' - Entry that is built & painted by a single individual. Any customer over 16 years of age can enter.
'Team' - Entry that is built & painted by a team of 2 or more. A team can enter as long as one of the teammates is over the age of 16.
'Youngbloods' - Customers aged between 13 and 15.
A parent's or guardian’s permission is required; rules are the same as those for the Solo Entrant category.
'Armies on Terrain' - Entry that is featured on a painted display or set in a diorama. Customers can enter this category in addition to the solo/team categories
Yes, it is possible to part of two different categories, if you are displaying on a themed board (i.e. I would be submitting as a 'Solo' entry that is also 'Armies on Terrain')
Voting will occur from 11am-6pm on Saturday, October 18th. Participants may come in earlier to set up their displays, as early as the previous Wednesday (the 15th). Please contact the store for any questions. Remember, this is a celebration of our Citadel models and your DIY handiwork.
