Armenian Dance Lesson

Mark your calendars for March 22, from 12-2pm! Come and join the St. Vartan Cultural Committee for an afternoon of traditional Armenian dance lessons given by Armenian traditional dance expert Levon Dermikaelian. This event is not only a great opportunity to learn some new (old) moves, but it is also a fundraiser for Abaven Foundation's Women's Scholarship Fund.

Abaven Foundation: The Abaven Foundation has partnered with the American University of Armenia (AUA) to support women from rural regions of Armenia pursuing higher education. You can find more about this project here.

Please RSVP to this eventbrite so we can keep a headcount. The event will take place at St. Vartan Armenian Church at 650 Spruce St, in Oakland. We kindly suggest a donation of $20. All proceeds will go towards supporting the women's scholarship fund.
