CHURCH SAFETY TEAM TRAINING. Houses of worship face a unique challenge—maintaining a welcoming, open environment while ensuring the safety of their congregation. We recognize the sensitivity and responsibility that church safety teams carry and tailor our training with those realities in mind. While the chance of an armed threat at any given church is statistically low, the duty to be prepared remains. More often, safety teams encounter individuals in emotional or personal crisis who require a measured and compassionate response. Armed and Faithful prepares teams for both the likely and the unlikely—training with balance, purpose, and respect for the mission of the church. This 2.5-hour monthly class is designed for those currently serving—or preparing to serve—on a church safety team, as well as safety-minded members of local congregations. Hosted at Shoot GTR, each session combines classroom instruction, live-fire training, and realistic scenario-based exercises to enhance readiness and response.Each session focuses on practical skills and relevant topics that help church teams build confidence, improve coordination, and prepare to protect their congregations effectively. While the class is geared toward individual development, entire church safety teams are also welcome to attend together. Class starts on time. If you miss the safety brief you will not be allowed to shoot during training.Required Equipment:
- Concealed Carry Handgun
- Concealed Carry Holster with retention. No pocket carry, sticky holsters, or serpa style holsters.
- 50 rounds of ammunition
- Closed Toed Shoes
- Eye and ear protection
