Armand reveals the entrancing sound of the oboe in its own variedspotlight. Born in France, Armand also studied in Germany and was a prize-winner at the Young Classical Artists Trust (YCAT) International Auditions and nominated as a 2022 Rising Star Artist by Classic FM. He has performed recitals at Wigmore Hall, Berlin’s Konzerthaus, and the Lammermuir Festival.
Iyad’s debut album was described by Gramophone as “exhilarating and delivered with perfect clarity”. Born in Amman, the Jordanian-Palestinian pianist studied at the Royal Northern College of Music and Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance where he won the College’s prestigious Gold Medal. As a concerto soloist Iyad has appeared with leading orchestras including the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra.
The programme will include Britten, Hindemith, Lili Boulanger, Saint-Saëns, Dranishnikova, Schuman, Chausson and Bozza
