Arlington HIstory Fest 250
Schedule
Sat May 09 2026 at 10:00 am to 05:00 pm
UTC-04:00Location
Kenmore Middle School | Arlington, VA
Most of the rest of Virginia is celebrating the roots of the Declaration and the Revolutionary War battles fought here, Arlington is taking a different approach to celebrating. We're celebrating Arlington's unique role being situated right next to the Capital City (and for a time a part of it). We have so many civic associations, service organizations, history groups and societies, and more that have had quiet but hugely significant impact on the history of Arlington County. We've invited them to tell their stories!
We'll have 40+ tented tables on the grounds of Kenmore Middle School, Plus a select number of classic vehicles, re-enactors, historical interpreters, musical performances, and historical storytelling, hands-on demonstrations, and children’s activities.
The Virginia State VA250 Mobile Museum will also be on site. A hands-on, interactive, and immersive “museum on wheels,” the VA250 Mobile Museum Experience titled “Out of Many, One” is housed in an expandable tractor trailer that is traveling throughout Virginia. The mobile museum brings key stories of Virginia’s rich history to schools, museums, local events, fairs, and more, highlighting every region of the state.
There is something for everyone and it's free!
