Perc est une figure incontournable de la musique électronique moderne : DJ et performeur live de renommée internationale,
fondateur du label phare Perc Trax et l'un des producteurs techno les plus respectés
aujourd'hui.
En tant que DJ et performeur live, Perc a fait résonner son son à travers le monde, notamment au Berghain, au Fabric, au Tresor,
au Fuse, au Space Ibiza, au Concrete, au Fabrik Madrid et au Bassiani, ainsi que dans des festivals tels que
Awakenings, Glastonbury, Unpolished, Mayday, Verknipt, Reaktor, Unsound, Dour, Soenda,
10 Days Off, Extrema et bien d'autres.
Son podcast pour la série de mix de référence de Resident Advisor est un concentré de son talent.
Une heure de techno avant-gardiste fusionnant noise classique et influences expérimentales. En 2017, Perc a atteint de nouveaux sommets avec la sortie de son album « Bitter Music », qui a donné lieu à une vaste tournée mondiale.
Cet album a également produit le plus grand succès de sa carrière, « Look What Your Love Has Done To Me »,
l'un des morceaux techno les plus joués et les plus vendus de l'année.
Depuis « Bitter Music », des EPs tels que « Fire In Negative », « Greed Dance » et « Dirt » sur Perc Trax,
ont continué à redéfinir la techno moderne. En 2022, une série de remixes, dont une version radicale,
du classique proto-hardcore de Marc Acardipane « Pitch-Hiker », lui a valu de nouvelles éloges.
En 2023, Perc a poursuivi sur sa lancée avec « Wave Hammer », son premier EP complet depuis 2021, de nouveaux remixes de son titre phare,
« Resistor », et la première de son nouveau spectacle live à Awakenings. Sorti en mars 2024, « The Cut Off » était le premier album de Perc en sept ans.
Il a reçu les éloges de Resident Advisor et de The Quietus, et a été suivi d'une vaste tournée en Europe, en Amérique centrale et du Sud, ainsi qu'aux États-Unis.
En 2025, Perc a déjà sorti deux EP de remixes de titres de « The Cut Off » sur son label PercTrax, ainsi que des concerts aux États-Unis, au Canada, en Europe et en Amérique du Sud. Perc is one of modern electronic music’s reference points: an internationally touring DJ and
live act, founder of the scene leading Perc Trax label and one of the most respected
producers in techno today.
As a DJ & live act Perc has taken his sound across the world to Berghain, Fabric, Tresor,
Fuse, Space Ibiza, Concrete, Fabrik Madrid and Bassiani and to festivals including
Awakenings, Glastonbury, Unpolished, Mayday, Verknipt, Reaktor, Unsound, Dour, Soenda,
10 Days Off, Extrema & more.
His podcast for Resident Advisor’s scene-leading mix series is Perc at his very best. One
hour of bleeding edge techno fused with classic noise and experimental influences.
2017 saw Perc reach new heights as his 'Bitter Music' LP launched an extensive world tour
but also produced the biggest track of his career in 'Look What Your Love Has Done To Me',
one of the most played and best selling techno tracks that year.
Since 'Bitter Music' EPs including 'Fire In Negative', 'Greed Dance' and 'Dirt' on Perc Trax
have continued to reshape modern techno. In 2022 a run of remixes, including a radical take
on Marc Acardipane's proto-hardcore classic 'Pitch-Hiker', brought further plaudits.
In 2023 Perc continued with ‘Wave Hammer’ his first full EP since 2021, new remixes of his
classic ‘Resistor’ and the debut performance of his new live show at Awakenings.
Released in March 2024 'The Cut Off' was Perc's first album in seven years receiving
recommendations from both Resident Advisor and The Quietus, with a widespread tour of
Europe, Central & South America & the USA following the album's release.
2025 has already seen two EPs of remixes of tracks from 'The Cut Off' released on Perc
Trax and gigs across the USA, Canada, Europe and South America. Now Perc is focusing
his attention on a wave of new original material on a selection of the scene's best labels to
once again push his sound forwards.
