Join the Arizona Glass Alliance (AGA) for an inspiring evening exploring the unique artistic vision of glass artist Katrina Hude at 7 p.m. Monday, November 16, 2026.
The free, public event will be held at the Scottsdale Ranch Clubhouse, 10585 N. 100th St., Scottsdale. To reserve a spot, email [email protected].
Based in the Seattle area, Hude has worked in glass for more than 30 years, following her graduation from the California College of Arts and Crafts and San Jose State University. Her work is beautiful, distinctive, and infused with whimsy and humor.
“Using artwork as my gesture,” Hude said, “I hope to engage others in dialogue much like using a push pin to pin up an important thought or to preserve a basic truth. I am a symbol maker. Visual objects are my chosen language.”
Hude’s accomplishments include a fellowship at the Creative Glass Fellowship Program at Wheaton Arts and recognition as an Emerging Artist in Residence at Pilchuck Glass School. She’s lectured in Japan and Australia and served as an artist in residence at the Museum of Glass.
