Growing season is in full swing and we are still working on establishing more beds at the farm, come through!!

(੭ˊᵕˋ)੭ FREE EVENT FOR EVERYONE
Join our community and other compassionate comrades who are ready to implement real change in their communities. Together, we will get to the roots of consumerism and begin to understand what our purchases are funding- here and abroad. This presentation will mainly focus on food consumerism, but will have many connections to social justice issues even within our own community. We will cover one of the most powerful non-violent tools YOU possess, your dollar. From boycotts to mutual aid, to The Black Panther free breakfast program, to indigenous wisdom and so much more!
Even more importantly, we will discuss zero waste and ethical alternatives. Resistance comes in many forms, but we need to get organized and aligned. We need to connect our movements for social justice to the pressing realities of the climate catastrophe. From San Diego, to Chicago, to Palestine, to the Congo, we are all global citizens of planet earth and only together can we move forward.
Make sure to bring a food container, utensils, and a cup to help us minimize waste!
We will have more water and restrooms on site!

Our founding farmers blend East African agricultural practices with decades of experience growing in San Diego. We teach, grow food, and develop agricultural knowledge directly with the community. All from our 8,000 square foot garden and 60-tree orchard.

The food we grow nourishes our community directly. Our crop is collectively managed from seed to sprout to harvest and donated directly to community members, local food pantries, and mutual aid organizations.
