On October 20th, fall’s first full moon will rise in the bold sign of Aries, which puts a fire under our goals and asks our inner leaders to step up and shine. The October 2021 full moon is making some tense connections with several other planets, so try to go with the flow, avoid the drama, and let go of your need to be in control.
This Full Moon is commonly known as the Hunter’s Moon, and according to Farmer’s Almanac, its other nicknames include the Blood Moon and Sanguine Moon (both very apropos for Halloween time). If you want to get into the spooky season spirit, this is a gorgeous full moon to plan a release ritual and focus on making space for your heart’s true desires.
What to Expect:
Once you arrive, we will come together in the Studio, where we will sit in circle around the room.
We will discuss what it means when the Full Moon sits in Aries and how the coming weeks could benefit from this sign's energy.
I will lead the circle in a guided mediation, specific to this month's full moon energy.
We will take time to journal and share our experiences. (Optional). And close the evening with setting our intention for the moon cycle.
What you need:
Hydrate - Bring something to drink, we will be selling hot teas and bottled water at the Studio.
Comfort - We provide mats, bolsters, & blankets. Chairs are also available upon request. But if you feel so inclined you are welcome to bring your own mat, pillows or blanket to ensure you are as comfy as possible.
Journal - Bring a journal or notebook to write down your experiences and intentions. You'll also want to bring a pen.
Mindfulness - Bring an open heart and judgement free mindset when coming to class. We're all walking our own paths. This is a place where we allow our selves the opportunity to take up space.
