Of course, there are many interesting aspects to tango. For instance, the layering of tango music allows dancers to interpret the same melody in various ways, depending on the mood and their partner. Tango is a dance of complete improvisation; a follower never knows what the next step will be.The deepest pleasure of tango is experienced when a couple dances in unison. It is both the best and most challenging aspect to learn — how two people can dance as one. When dancers are so connected that they can anticipate each other's movements and intentions, the couple dances not as individuals, but as a single entity with two hearts. We will begin by learning this connection.
