Come have fun with your equine partner! Build confidence and experience new things in an arena environment with others. During theses self paced events, participants have the opportunity to work on different obstacles while hanging out with other horse and people friends.Some obstacles may be about body control, while others about overcoming something that might be new and scary, while being around the additional obstacle of strange horses and people.
These events are to encourage you and your horse to get out and try new things in a low stakes environment.
At the end of the summer we will host a low stakes, low key competition during the State Fair so you can show off your new skills!
All ages, all breeds, under saddle or in hand welcome!
Negative Coggins/EIA Required at both facilities
Different obstacles will be set up at each event
Event starts at 6pm and will go to about 8pm, please check in before entering the arena.
$20 per human participant per event
Practice - Tuesday June 25th 6pm at WCCEC Main Arena in Anchorage
Practice - July 18th 6pm at FEC(State Fairgrounds) Main Area in Palmer
Practice - August 19th 6pm at FEC (State Fairgrounds) Main Arena in Palmer * Note this is during the Fair*
Competition - September 2nd(Labor Day) 10am at FEC State Fairgrounds Main Arena during the fair
