Are You Really Ready to Do Business in Texas?
About this Event
Come find out where your business actually stands.
This is one free session, open to anyone. You do not need a registered business, a plan, or a polished pitch to be here. If you own something, are building something, or keep meaning to get serious about it, this session is for you.
This is not a sales pitch and it is not an orientation. It is a working session.
What we will actually do
You will run a real assessment of your own business: what is strong, what is missing, and what a buyer, a bank, or a partner would see if they looked at you today. Not a quiz with a score. A list you walk out holding.
Then we run a fast version of a team exercise, where you find out what it feels like to price a job with someone else, divide the work, and decide who is responsible for what. Some people discover they are ready for that. Some discover they are not, and that is useful too.
You will leave knowing your next step, whatever it turns out to be.

One more thing
The Business In Development (B.I.D.) Academy opens its Fall 2026 cohort on September 2nd. Nine Wednesdays that leave you with a capability statement, a defensible cost model, your registrations in hand, and a business ready to be considered for the work you've dreamed of having. It also includes free registration for Prairie View A&M's Grow With Google program.
If this session tells you the Academy is your next move, you can register on the spot. If it tells you something else, that is a good outcome too.
