Let's come together to fight against divisive politics uphold the values of the world’s largest democracy and fight for its future. Join us at Friends House on November 22 2025 at 11:00 AM (GMT).

Let's re-imagine a future for India that honours its unity and strength. We cannot do this alone but we can do this together.

India has a rich history of resistance pioneering social movements and community strength. We have been at the forefront of demanding equal rights and dignity with those fighting for our independence being bold and outrageous in doing so. However the dream of a fair and equal India that united people 75 years ago seems further and further away.

At this pivotal moment it is now our time to champion the vision of a progressive and equal India. Join us on 22 November 2025 to reimagine a future that honours this history.

What to Expect?

• Panel discussions on issues most pressing to India.
• Cultural performances that celebrate India's rich diversity.
• A platform where the community local organisations and activists from all across the UK can come together to confront the challenges faced by India’s democracy.
