Are You Experienced? The Jimi Hendrix TributeAre You Experienced? are now in their 26th year together, and in that time have firmly established themselves as the premier Hendrix tribute in Europe, having headlined festivals in Brazil, Barbados, Rhodes as well as appearing at in Holland, Germany and Sweden.
Founder member John Campbell has also appeared on TV shows in his Hendrix persona and bares more than a passing resemblance to the iconic guitarist.
The band were joined by Phil Carter on drums in late 2019.
Unfortunate timing, as we all know 2020 and most of 2021 has not been a good year for live music. Phil, came to the band highly recommended and it’s easy to see why.
A long time Hendrix fan, he has brought a fresh energy to the band.
They have played three UK tours with Jimi’s younger brother, Leon Hendrix after being picked by him to perform his tribute to his brother
More recently Are You Experienced? opened The Isle of Wight Festival 2021 for the second time since 2010 to mark the 40th & 50 year anniversary of Jimi Hendrix appearing there.
Are You Experienced? enjoy bringing the music of Hendrix to a new and eager audience as well as those that remember him the first time around.
