Ardmore250: A Dreaming in America Community Celebration
About this Event
oin us for Ardmore250, a family-friendly community celebration honoring America's 250th anniversary through art, community, creativity, and civic pride.
The day begins with a ribbon-cutting ceremony for Ardmore's newest community mural, followed by a Freedom Walk through the neighborhood and an afternoon of family activities in Linwood Park.
Together, we'll celebrate the freedom to dream, create, and build stronger communities.
This event is free and open to all ages.
Event Schedule
🎨 10:00 AM – Community Mural Ribbon Cutting
Location: Heartbreath Yoga Studio
201 Simpson Rd, Ardmore, PA
Celebrate the unveiling of DayDream's newest public art project and hear remarks from community leaders and project partners.
🚶 10:30 AM – Freedom Walk
Beginning at the mural site and proceeding to Linwood Park.
Participants are encouraged to bring positive, family-friendly signs celebrating community, creativity, freedom, literacy, and civic engagement.
🌳 11:00 AM – Community Celebration in the Park
Location: Linwood Park
Activities include:
