About this Event
This project examines how, by whom and for what purposes the twentieth century ‘inner city’ is remembered, curated and represented, particularly in Philadelphia’s 7th Ward. The symposium will highlight the various ways that historians, tour guides, and everyday citizens are curating Philadelphia's history and cultural memory for the public.
