This term the theme is the inspiration of architects Richard Rogers & Chris Wilkinson, who both passed away in December 2021.

This is a term booking for a total of 5 sessions;

5 online workshops on Thursdays at 4.30-5.30pm

Archimake Academy's award winning design education workshops build creativity and design confidence in children and enable enhanced drawing, making, written and verbal communication skills. By the end of each term children develop their own impressive urban design project through being introduced to the range of skills architects and engineers master such as creativity, logic, reasoning, physics, proportion and problem solving. Research shows that children who are creatively confident believe that they can make a positive difference in society.

Each child is guided in how to present their project on the last workshop and parents and carers are invited to join and hear our invited guests give your child feedback on their work. Archimakers also receive a Certificate of Completion.

Workshops, designed by practising architects and academics, are based on the fundamental essentials of architectural education. Workshops develop an understanding of plans, elevations and sections, model making, design drawing and verbal presentation skills together with self confidence.

Archimake is founded by nationally known architect Cheryl Pilliner-Reeves who has been featured on BBC TV Tricks of the Trade and Channel 4 Phil Spencer Secret Agent. Cheryl is also an examiner of the RIBA Part 3 exam at the Architectural Association School of Architecture and Curriculum Lead of the Global Design Engineering degree at TEDI-London
