A fascinating talk about the historical Hampson Vault located in the Old Churchyard in the grounds of Taplow Court. Julian Mumby, archeological advisor to the Diocese of Oxford, is coming to speak to us, and we also welcome Lorna Hunger from the Department of Archeology at the University of Reading talking about the even older Saxon Barrow in the Old Churchyard in the light of new research at the British Museum. Everyone is welcome. Tickets are available from our website www.st-nicolas-taplow.org or via the QR code on the poster. Tickets for the event are priced at £15 and include tea and cake and a stroll around the old churchyard.
