Be an archaeologist for the week! Campers will learn how archaeologists really work through a series of hands-on activities that include:
**Flintknapping (stone tool making) demo
**Excavating a simulated site
**Analyzing the artifacts found during excavation
**Food!!
**Learn about local cultures through tours and hands-on activities
Some activities will take place in our new Early People’s Park, which includes a replica pit house.
Note: This camp teaches the science of archaeological and artifact analysis as well as history. Excavation and analysis will take place on June 9th from 8:30 am - 2:30 pm at Old Pueblo Archaology Center, 2201
