You are warmly invited to attend the AGM of the Friends of Old Park & Chequers Wood which will feature a talk on 'Old Park: Home to some of the earliest Humans in Europe' by Alastair Key, Associate Professor of Archaeology at the University of Cambridge.
The AGM will also provide the occasion for the official launch of the campaign to save Old Park and Chequers Wood as a wildlife haven and recreational area for the people of Canterbury. Do come along to find out what is being planned and what you can do to can help.
The meeting will begin at 7pm, with refreshments served from 6pm onwards.
