🎃 Green Spiral Farm Announces the First-Ever Scarecrow Rally 🎃
October 10–17, 2025 | Arcata, CA
Arcata, CA – Green Spiral Farm invites the community to join in a harvest season tradition like no other: the Scarecrow Rally, a family-friendly celebration of creativity, fall spirit, and community fun. Running from October 10–17, the rally invites participants of all ages to build and display their very own scarecrow at the farm’s pumpkin patch.
The Scarecrow Rally is not just a contest — it’s a celebration of imagination and community artistry. Visitors to the pumpkin patch throughout the season will get to see scarecrows come to life across the farm, each one adding a touch of whimsy and harvest magic to the Green Spiral fields.

Participants can enter in one of four categories, with each winner receiving:
$100 Pumpkin Shopping Spree at Green Spiral Farm
1 Free Corn Maze Ticket
$20 in Haunted Midway Tickets
Bragging Rights All Year

🎃 How It Works 🎃
Pre-Registration: All participants must pre-register before October 10.
Build on Site: Scarecrows must be built at Green Spiral Farm between October 10–17 using materials brought by participants.
Community Display: Completed scarecrows will be on display at the Pumpkin Patch for the entire season.
Voting & Judging: Winners will be decided by community vote and creativity. Voting is open during Pumpkin Patch hours — weekdays 12–6 PM (with some days opening at 2 PM) and weekends 10 AM–6 PM. Voting continues through the season, with winners announced on October 31.
Pick-Up: All scarecrows must be picked up between October 25–31.

The Scarecrow Rally is designed as a festival-style experience — not only do participants get the joy of creating, but the entire community benefits from a patch filled with scarecrows of every shape, size, and personality. Guests of all ages will enjoy strolling the pumpkin patch, finding their favorite scarecrow, and casting a vote.
“We wanted to create something that feels less like a competition and more like a fall celebration,” said the team at Green Spiral Farm. “It’s about bringing families, kids, and our community together through creativity — with a little harvest-season bragging rights along the way.”
