Angus Cycle Hub’s Social Rides are led by a qualified Cycle Ride Leader. Our Leaders will plan the routes on quiet roads and recognised cycle paths, and make decisions for the group they are responsible for. If you have any questions or concerns during the ride you can ask our Leader or any of our volunteers who are identifiable through ACH jackets and clothing.
We will conduct a quick safety check of everyone’s bikes before heading off and ensure everyone is confident on their bike. We will also brief you on the route and any road/group riding etiquette you need to know. We ride as a group but if you decide that you want to finish early then you can let the Leader know so they can mark you off on their records.
We like to have a blether when riding but it is up to you how much you engage! We make opportunities for getting to know one another at our scheduled stops which we encourage you to use so that we don’t need to make any additional stops.
