About this Event

From backyards to tropical rain forests, trees around the world are hard at work providing the necessities of life. Trees clean our air and water, provide habitat for wildlife, connect communities, and support our health and well-being.

Spring is here!

Join Pinellas County Urban Forestry at Ridgecrest Park on April 15th to celebrate Arbor Day and adopt a new tree.

This event is open to Pinellas County residents (with proof of residency) and will be first come first serve from 9:00am to 1:00pm.

200 trees will be available in nine unique species including:

American Elm, American Sycamore, Pond Cypress, Longleaf Pine, Slash Pine, Black Mulberry, Southern Magnolia, Loblolly Bay, and Loquat

-Tickets are used for tracking interest in the event only. Ticket not required to receive giveaway tree.-


Event Details:

WHEN: Saturday, April 15th at 9:00am – 1:00pm

WHERE: Ridgecrest Park – 12000 Ulmerton Rd, Largo, FL, 33774. Event area located at Shelter 1.

WHAT TO EXPECT: The event will be held at Shelter 1 near park entrance off Ulmerton Rd. Guests will check in at an information booth and select up to 2 trees on a pamphlet. After ‘checking in’ guests will proceed to a designated tree pickup area. Staff and volunteers will be onsite to help deliver trees to personal vehicles.
