Arabic Calligraphy Art

We will be learning about the beauty and history of Arabic calligraphy in this engaging, hands-on workshop. We’ll explore the rich cultural background of Arabic calligraphy and why it holds such a central place in the Islamic artistic tradition. Participants will be introduced to the traditional tools and techniques used by calligraphers before practicing how to write several letters in the Arabic script, "Thuluth".

By the end of the session, everyone will create and take home their own finished piece of artwork featuring the word “Peace” or “Love” written in elegant Arabic Calligraphy.
