Step into the World of Arabian Nights🎶 A Musical Journey Through Timeless Tales 🎶
Join us for a spellbinding performance as Egyptian-Canadian oud virtuoso Ali Omar El-Farouk and Polish percussionist Łukasz Kurzydło bring the enchanting tales of Arabian Nights to life through music.
✨ A Journey of Ancient Stories and Sounds ✨
Much like the timeless tales of Scheherazade, where stories unfold one by one under starlit skies, this performance uses the hypnotic melodies of the oud and the intricate rhythms of percussion to transport you to the Levantine world. Each piece tells a story of love, adventure, and mystery, evoking the spirit of the Middle East’s rich cultural heritage.
🌟 The Oud: The Voice of History 🌟
An instrument with roots stretching back 3,500 years, the oud is the heart and soul of Middle Eastern music. Its rich, warm tones weave tales as old as time, while the dynamic rhythms of percussion add depth and drama, making each moment come alive.
