About this Event

We are excited to announce that we will be launching inclusive, sensory-friendly, one-on-one aquarium tours at Aquarium of the Bay in San Francisco on Fisherman's Wharf for students of all abilities! During tours, students will be fully supported by a team of credentialed special education teachers!

Tours will be held on July 8th, July 15th, July 22nd, July 29, August 5, and August 12. There will be 3 tours on each day, each with one student. Tour times are 10:00AM, 12:15PM, and 2:30PM. Space is limited. The aquarium will be open to the public at the time of the tours, and we will provide any accommodations needed to support your student in a public space.

Students attending this event must be 15 or younger, as our activities are geared towards this age group. During this event, students will have the opportunity to learn about marine animals and marine science during an adapted tour of the Aquarium of the Bay and will be able to engage in a sensory-friendly animal touch tank opportunity!

Students will have the option to wear sensory mittens provided by CLC to help with sensory preferences or differences!
