Aquarium of the Bay Inclusive Walk-Through Sign Ups!!
About this Event
We are excited to announce that we will be launching inclusive, sensory-friendly, one-on-one aquarium tours at Aquarium of the Bay in San Francisco on Fisherman's Wharf for young students with disabilities! Students will be fully supported during their tour by a team of credentialed special education teachers (the event name is a one-on-one tour, but if your student needs multiple support staff, we will provide them with any accommodations they need)! Tours will be on July 8th, July 15th, July 22nd, July 29, August 5, and August 12. There will be four tours a day, each with one student, so space is limited! Students attending this event must be 15 or younger, our activities are geared towards this age group. During the tour, students will have the opportunity to do fun science activities, including touching animals in a sensory-friendly way. During animal touching opportunities, students will have the option to wear sensory mittens by Lakeshore to help with sensory preferences! We are dedicated to accommodating all students, and will always create accessible learning experiences! To sign up for this event, you must select a time slot and buy a ticket on our EventBrite AND fill out our Google form!
