Apéro Innovation Open Innovation in European University Hospitals
About this Event
This special edition of the @Hôtel-Dieu Apéro Innovation series is held on the eve of the EUHA General Assembly, hosted this year by AP-HP in Paris (5–6 November 2026). For the first time, the apéro goes European. It is co-organised by AP-HP's @Hôtel-Dieu initiative and the EUHA Innovation working group, which meets at Hôtel-Dieu earlier that afternoon.
University hospitals are both a major source of innovation and a vast reservoir of unmet needs. How do Europe's leading academic medical centres open their doors to start-ups? Where should an innovator knock first? How do hospitals connect with national and regional funding and support ecosystems? This evening brings together the innovation leads and Steering Committee members of 11 major European university hospitals to share their approaches and exchange with entrepreneurs, healthcare professionals and ecosystem partners.
